Mary I. Cunningham
Mary Isabelle Cunningham, 92, of Hughesville, passed away Friday evening, December 8, 2017, at Sweet Springs Villa.
She was born August 22, 1925, in Sedalia, daughter of Edgar Ison and Edna Tomlinson Ison.
On September 17, 1949, in Sedalia, she was married to Robert William Cunningham, who preceded her in death on November 4, 2017.
Mary worked for Bell Telephone, Pettis County Farm Bureau, and Sedalia Bank and Trust. She enjoyed playing Bridge and dancing. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Dawn Cunningham, of Hughesville; three grandchildren, Ashley Cunningham (Shaina Smith), of Kansas City, Ryan Cunningham (Leonie), of Oxnard, CA, and Trevor Cunningham (Lorelei), of Sedalia; and two great-grandchildren, Hanna and Grace.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rick Cunningham; and a brother, Jerry Ison.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Chad McMullin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children or the scholarship fund at First Christian Church.
