Mary Lee Pace, 76, of Sedalia, died Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born January 11, 1938, of Sedalia, daughter of Roy and Minnie Stephens Poynter.
Mrs. Pace retired from Broderick and Bascom, and had also worked for Alcan and Rival. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, cleaning, tending her flowers, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three children: Sam Paxton (Cathy), of Sedalia, Cozetta Chalfant, of Columbia, and Earl Paxton, of Warsaw; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Davis Weeks, of California, and Jo Johnson, of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Darla Denise Paxton.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
