Mary Lou Bauman, 84, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, at her home from kidney disease.
She was born June 15, 1932 in Madison, South Dakota, the daughter of Carl and Mary (Moran) Larson. She was united in marriage on May 21, 1955, to Laurel Bauman. They celebrated 47 years of marriage prior to his death in March 2002.
She loved crafts, gardening, and gatherings with family and friends.
Her greatest accomplishment was the raising of her children and she was very proud of being a Homemaker.
She is survived by six children, Dennis Kruit (Jane) of White, SD, Rodney Kruit (Jay) of Miami Beach, FL, Deborah Magdaleno of Sedalia, MO, Robbin Bauman of Riverside, CA, Todd Bauman of Santa Ana, CA, and Lori Ehlers (Fred) of Ionia, MO.
She had nine Grandchildren and sixteen Great Grandchildren.
She was a kind, loving, and gentle spirit who loved animals and was an avid donor to many animal support charities as well as other organizations.
A private service will be held for the family at a later date in Madison, South Dakota where she will be laid to rest with her mother.
