Naomi Joann Myrick, 75, of Sedalia, MO, died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born July 8, 1944 in Mindenmines, MO, daughter of Lawrence and Cary (Scholes) Gruver.
On May 19, 1979 she married William J. Myrick.
Naomi was a homemaker most of her life. At one time she was a cosmetologist and a CNA. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia.
Surviving are her husband, Bill, of the home; three children, James Kenneth Wires, of Rosehill, VA, Ginger Bakey, of Cumberland Gap, TN, and Sherry Davis, of Clinton, MO; stepson, Danny Myrick, of Sedalia, MO; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Sewing, of Lawrence, KS; and four brothers, Larry Gruver, of Grandview, MO, James Gruver, of Texas, Donnie Gruver, of Grandview, MO, and Tom Gruver, of Garden City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Carl William Wires.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Don Satterwhite officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
