Pamela Ann Bartley, 66, longtime resident of Sedalia, MO, died peacefully at her daughter’s home in Waxhaw, NC, on September 7, 2017, after a long battle with breast cancer.

She was born April 30, 1951, in Lyon, KS, the daughter of Eldo and Dortha Kopke. She grew up in Overland Park, KS, and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School.

She was married to Gary Bartley for almost forty years, before he preceded her in death on September 23, 2009.

Pam assisted her husband in the family business but primarily dedicated her life to raising their children. She enjoyed gardening and volunteering.

Surviving are her mother, Dortha Kopke, of Overland Park, KS; her brother, Jerry Kopke and his wife Taunya, of Fayetteville, AR; her sister, Marcia Dougherty, of Shawnee, KS; her daughter, Karyn Harmon and her husband Thomas, of Waxhaw, NC; her son, Jeremy Bartley, of Sedalia; her grandson, Ayden Bartley, of Sedalia; and Copper, her four-legged girl.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her father.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
