Pamela Gay Mcclasky
Pamela Gay McClasky, age 68, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Bothhwell Regional Health Center.
She was born September 9, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Dewy and Jean (Pruitt) Barrett, who preceded her in death. On October 23, 2004, in Boonville, MO, she married Samuel James McClasky, who preceded her in death on June 24, 2019.
Pamela enjoyed traveling, crafting, and spending time with her family and dogs. She hosted many family gatherings and especially loved swimming with her grandchildren. Pamela was a generous and loving person to family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Johnson (Brian) of Sedalia and Tina Vaughan (Jon) of Pace, FL; six grandchildren, Caleb Johnson, Cameron Hoehns (Shane), Marissa Ivie (William), Payton Johnson, Jeremy Vaughan, Clay Vaughan, Natilee Vaughan, and Aubrey Vaughan; three great-grandchildren, Orion Ivie, Oliver Ivie, and Elliott Hoehns; and brother Gary Barrett (Diane).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Casket bearers will be Jon Vaughan, Brian Johnson, William Ivie, Shane Hoehns and Caleb Johnson.
Honorary casket bearers are Jeremy Vaughan and Clay Vaughan.
Burial will be in the Old Lamine Cemetery, Blackwater, MO.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Sedalia Animal Shelter.
