Paul M. Evans

Paul M. Evans, 72, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.

He was born February 3,1952, in Sandwich, IL, son of the late John R. and Gertrude W. (Roth) Evans.

Paul joined the US Army in the Vietnam era, serving his country honorably as an Army tank driver from 1970-1973. After he was discharged from the Army, he worked Civil Service at Whiteman Air Force Base in the produce section of the commissary, retiring after 38 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all arrowhead hunting. Paul loved collecting Case XX knives.

Paul is survived by a son, Jody Evans, of Kansas City, MO.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters.

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Crown Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Rick Seaton officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 2591 and US Army.

There will be no visitation.
