Phillip H. Staton
Phillip Harrison Staton, 80, of Houstonia, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
He was born on December 7, 1942 in Kentucky, a son of John and Virginia Constance (Wallace) Staton.
Phillip worked for Conagra in Marshall for over 29 years. He enjoyed watching tv especially the ID channel.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Staton (Donna) of Sedalia, and John Staton (Paula) of Houstonia; four grandchildren, Jimmy Staton (Ashley), Amanda Weller (Doug), John “Jay” Staton (Kayleen), and Zackary Staton; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Johnson (Buck) of Higginsville, and Debbie Smith (Buddy) of Nashville, TN.
In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, John Staton; one sister, Oleta “Cricket” Wilson.
There are no services planned for Phillip at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
