Phyllis Annette Church, 60, of Stover, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, MO.
She was born April 3, 1959 in Kansas City, KS, a daughter of Ezra Stout and Arlene Ruth (Petitt) Church.
Phyllis was a member of the Olivet Baptist Church in Mission, KS. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, bird watching, camping and sitting around a campfire. She will be remembered for the love she had of animals and children.
Survivors include two children, Jessica Church and Paul Scobee both of Stover, MO; two sisters, Ruth Straton (John) of Basehor, KS, Connie Swafford of Cole Camp, MO; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Gunder; two brothers, Don and Melvin Church; one sister, Shirley McCarty.
Private family services for Phyllis will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, MO.
