Rhonda Kay Mittenburg, 54, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014, at her home.
She was born January 11, 1960, in Bad Canstatt, Germany, daughter of William Herbert and Juanita Mae Perry Strunk. On June 30, 2002, in Sedalia, she married Bruce Mittenburg, who survives of the home.
Rhonda had worked as a CNA and Med-Tech at the Missouri Veterans Home and Four Seasons Living Center. She enjoyed sewing, reading, watching movies and playing computer games. She loved animals. She was baptized at Parkway Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Adam Brizendine, of Indianapolis, IN; a grandson, Xavier Logan; six siblings: William M. Strunk, John Strunk, Judy Bennett, Debbie Strunk, Barbara Bartholomew and Dan Strunk, all of Sedalia, and Connie Bain, of Lansing, MI.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Strunk; and a brother, Robert Strunk.
Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan Hankins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be later in Crown Hill Cemetery.
