Richard L. Arnett
Richard L. Arnett, born Oct 30, 1941, son of Lloyd and Berniece Arnett passed away June 28, 2015 at the age of 73. Richard grew up and lived on the family farm near Green Ridge in the house built by his father. “Tan Man”, as he was known to his friends, had a quick wit and charming personality that won over most everyone he met. He spent most of his life outdoors farming, playing softball and hunting and fishing in the woods and on the lakes of Missouri.
He is survived by his brother Dale (Ginny); his spouse Patricia and their daughter Alexus; two children from a previous marriage Richie (Julie) and Robin; three grandchildren, Brianne, Cory and Cole and 2 nephews, Jeff (Mary) and Clint (Melanie).
Visitation will be held at Heckart Funeral Home Thursday, July 2 from 6-8 pm. In honor of Richard’s request, there will be no services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ridge Crest Nursing Center Resident Council Fund in Warrensburg, MO.
