Robert Lyle Williams II, 59, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at his home.

, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa, son of Robert Lyle Williams and Mary Louise Dey Williams.
On June 7

, 1980, in Indianola, Iowa, he married JoAnn Stastny, of Indianola, Iowa who survives of the home.
Bob was a hardworking man devoted to his family, whom he both loved and adored. He was an irreplaceable asset to Maxion Wheels for over three decades of his life. Bob had a peculiar sense of humor and a sharp wit. He enjoyed his leisure time with family and friends as an avid sprint car racing fan, defender of nature and enthusiastic supporter of whatever his kids were doing. In touch with his inner child, he found a way to have a little fun every day that he could. He found great peace racing against the wind on his Harley. He departed peacefully in his country home, nestled in the woods he treasured, surrounded by the pets he cherished and the family he loved.
In addition to his wife of 36 years, JoAnn, he is survived by his three children, Robert Lyle Williams III and Rebecca Jo Williams, both of Kansas City, Missouri and Heather Louise Williams of Columbia, Missouri; a sister, Robin Olson of Lenexa, Kansas; nieces, Maureen O’Connor and Kristin Olson; and two stepbrothers, Richard and Steven Mathews and their family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Williams and Mary L. Mathews; his stepfather, William M. Mathews; two stepbrothers, Jerry and Ronald Mathews; and numerous pets.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon Friday, October 14

, 2016, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Burial will be at a later date in Hopewell Cemetery.
