Centralia

Ronald E. Cramer, 70, of Centralia, formerly of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Born on May 11, 1954, in Sedalia. Ron was the son of the late Morley E. and Betty (Bennett) Cramer. He graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1972 and furthered his education at State Fair Community College in small motor mechanics. After college he started his career at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline in Houstonia for five years. He then ventured out west to Wamsutter Wyoming, for another five years, and finally settled his life in Centralia, Mo.

Ron “Click” Cramer was a hip cowboy who had a passion for fishing, gardening and feeding his friends, family and on occasion complete strangers. He was one of the most creative individuals with a remarkable 45 year career as a pipeline welder at Panhandle Eastern.

Ron was also quite the musician, always picking his guitar or banjo, while at times simultaneously playing the harmonica. He enjoyed spending time around a campfire singing old country songs and telling jokes with his witty sense of humor and his contagious laugh. He was very sharp and known for his vibrant personality, Ron was truly the life of the party, and he will be fondly remembered for his generous heart.

Ron loved his neighbor as himself and was a child of God with a strong faith in his savior Jesus Christ. He was a great father, friend, coworker and neighbor. Keep on clickin' chicken!

Ron's legend is survived by his three children: Caleb Cramer of Cole Camp, Kourtney Cramer of Sedalia, and Tristan Cramer of Pacific; and his five grandchildren: Claire Cramer, Teylor Cramer, Oksana Cramer, Sunny Cramer, and Levi Jones.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Carolyn Barker and Sandy Cramer.

A private burial service will be held in Sedalia, with friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held in Centralia for all who loved him and will be announced in the near future.
