Rosemary Allen

Rosemary Allen, 88, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born September 22, 1936, in Centerville, IA, a daughter of the late Standley Monroe and Alma Katherine (Pohorsky) White. On March 27, 1987, in Forsyth, MT, she was married to Richard Allen, who preceded her in death on March 18, 2014.

Rosemary attended West Grove School and was a 1954 graduate of Bloomfield High School. She attended colleges in Ames, IA and Kirksville, MO. Early in her working career she taught school, and was later a dietary manager for Rosebud Hospital in Forsyth, MT.

She attended Encounter Church. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, knitting and reading.

She is survived by two daughters, Lancy Ulrich, of Sedalia and Cindy Rijfkogel, of Ulysses, KS; a son, Lacy Allen Ulrich, of Anchorage, AK; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Alford, of Holts Summit, MO; and a brother, Allen Monroe White, of West Grove, IA.

Memorial services will be held in Sedalia at a later date. Interment will be in Rosebud Cemetery, Rosebud, MT.

Memorials are suggested to Encounter Church.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
