Samuel Alfred Wayne Lamp, 82, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Four Seasons Living Center.
He was born March 11, 1935, in Chillicothe, MO.
On July 12, 1980, in Oxnard, CA, he married Cheryl Mannes, who preceded him in death on December 17, 2001.
Sam was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Cargill.
Survivors include a sister and several cousins.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 30, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.
Burial with military honors will be in May Cemetery near Chula, MO.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
