Sandra Lee Dotson, 77, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born June 1, 1944, in Sedalia, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Florence (Buckley) Mabry.
Sandra was a 1962 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She worked at ABM until retirement. She was a member of Encounter Church.
Sandra loved traveling, especially cruises. She enjoyed shopping at WalMart and going to garage sales. She was an animal lover and was a strong supporter of Animals Best Friends “ABF”. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include five children, Rhonda Wolfe (Donnie), of LaMonte, Laura Smith (Ronnie), of Sedalia, Vickie Johnson, of Sedalia, Christina Woolery (Jeff), of Smithton, and Eric Dotson (Donna), of Sedalia; seven siblings, Florence Andrade, David Mabry, Mary Heimsoth, John Mabry, Bobbie Reynolds, Billie Marsh and Danny Mabry; 14 grandchildren, Andrea Roe, Kyndal Wolfe, Brant Smith, Lacey Kirby, Dalton Smith, Cheyenne Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Berlyn Johnson, Michelle Powers, Ariana Anderson, Seth Woolery, Zachary Dotson, Emily Dotson and Zane Dotson; nine great-grandchildren Damien, Riley, Evalyne, Kayden, Ryland, Adelle, Giavonna, Delilah and Tayvian, who is arriving in September; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Roberta Marcum and Robert Mabry.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Gray officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Heckart Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Animals Best Friends in care of the funeral home.
