Sandra S. Eichholz

Sandra S. Eichholz, 71, of Green Ridge, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Fair View Nursing Home.

She was born November 30, 1951, in Sedalia, daughter of Denzil and Wanda (Trout) Eichholz.

Sandy was a 1969 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She retired from Inter-State Studios, where she worked for many years. She also worked at the Missouri State Fair. She was a member of Green Ridge Presbyterian Church.

Sandy liked movies, her cats, and watching high school ball games. She especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her siblings, Merle Ragar (Mike), of Sedalia, Terry Walz, of Lee’s Summit, and Tom Walz (Ginger), of La Monte; nieces and nephews, Jamie Dove, Matt Dove, Tracy Schroeder and Joe Walz; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Franklin Walz; and sister, Cheri Dove.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Pastors Randy and Dianna Marcum officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Jamie Dove, Matt Dove, Samantha Dove, Tracy Schroeder, Justin Schroeder and Joe Walz.

Memorials are suggested to Green Ridge Presbyterian Women’s Circle, or to the Cheri Dove Memorial Scholarship at Green Ridge School.
