Scott M. Ritter, 45, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born November 11, 1975, in Omaha, NE, son of Gary Gladfelder and Pamela Ritter. On April 4, 2002, he married Anna Manolias at his parent’s home in Warsaw.
Scott was a soft-spoken man. He overcame addictions, turned his life around and became a wonderful family man, neighbor and friend. He and Anna enjoyed each other’s company in everything they did. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially barbecues and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a true, die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and was happy to watch them win a Superbowl.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; mother, Pamela Ritter; father, Gary Gladfelder; father, Gary Parham; son, Nick Manolias; daughters Lucinda Manolias, Ashley Manolias and Falon Hoffman; brothers, Chris Ritter and Patrick McGuire; sister, Misty Inlow (Bert); grandchildren, Lacole Manolias, Koreyon Manolias, Alexis Kerr, Abryana Myshae, DeMichael Hoffman Gray, Izaac Rodriguez, Rebekah Manolias and Luke Manolias; and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maxine Parham and uncle, Russ Ritter.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Crown Hill Cemetery.
