Sharrie Faye Shull, 61, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born July 7, 1962, in Sedalia, a daughter of Morris Leon Shull and Alice Faye (Finch) Kroos.

Sharrie was a 1980 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School and received an AA at State Fair Community College in early childhood development. She was a member of Bethel Family Church.

She worked many places including Kmart, VJ’s, Temp Stop, Tyson, Woods, Inter-State Studio and substitute for elementary school. Sharrie was currently working as an appointment specialist for Zillow.

She enjoyed crochet, card games, puzzles, painting and dining at Charlie’s Buffet. She was an avid Chiefs fan and loved reading, especially Stephen King novels and her beloved Boxer, Apollo.

Sharrie will be remembered as selfless, caring, would help anyone and was quick to share her opinion. She was the first person in her family to have brown children and was always her daughters’ champion.

Survivors include two daughters, Keishia Richmond, of Columbia and Keannia Johnson (Seth), of St. Louis; one brother, Terry Shull, of Sedalia, a sister, Crystal Shull, of Sedalia, five stepsiblings, including Sherry Hayes; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Shull; and her parents, Alice and Louis Kroos; and a brother, Randy Shull.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
