Sharyl R. Menning, 72, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at her home.
She was born August 17, 1944, in Oelwein, IA, daughter of Raymond and Delphia Russell Henderson.
Before retirement, Sharyl worked as an administrative assistant for CASA. She had two degrees, one in accounting and one in business. She enjoyed crocheting, flowers, and being with family. She loved the Lord and going to church at Worship House.
Surviving are two children: Angela Breshears, of Bunceton, and Shawn Menning, of Buckeye, AZ; and three grandchildren: Becca, J.D. and David.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, at Heckart Funeral Home, with a service to celebrate Sharyl’s life at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Dutch Boer will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project or Sedalia Animal Shelter.
