Farold Bryan “Sonny” Clark, 65, of Otterville, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

Sonny was born on December 21, 1951, in Sedalia, the son of Farold M. Clark and Dorothy Gertrude Clark.

On October 25, 1982, in Franklin, TN, he was united in marriage to Marlayne Adams, who survives of the home.

Sonny was a musician, playing keyboard and piano. He played with many different bands over the years and spent several years playing in Nashville, backing-up various country stars. He best expressed himself through music. He not only enjoyed playing but also enjoyed the happiness he brought to people who listened. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and in the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife of 34 years, Marlayne, he is survived by two children, James Clark, of La Monte, and Elizabeth Clark, of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Braidyn James Vaughn and Axle Dean Pate; and a sister, Annie Frisse, of Otterville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 30, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.

Casket bearers will be Layne Brooks, Bill Smith, Andy Harding, Rod Nations, Aaron Harding and Trevor Schrader. Steve Schilb will be an honorary bearer.

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.

The family will receiVe friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, at the funeral home.
