Stella Lucille Jackson, 86, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 in Overland Park, Kansas.
She was born September 2, 1931 to George and Martha Lutjen of Cole Camp, Missouri.
Stella was a devoted wife and mother of foursons.
She is survived by Steve Jackson (son) of Sammamish, WA; Jerry Jackson (son) and his wife Liz of Overland Park, KS; Rod Jackson (son) and his wife Jane of Kansas City, KS; and Tim Jackson (son) of New Bloomfield, MO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren (Ashley, Joseph, Rachel, John, Teresa, Caroline, Amanda, Cory and Abbey). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren (Braden, Dayton, Preston, Londyn and Mason).
Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Jackson, as well as her sisters (Johanna Lutjen, Alpha Lutjen and Irene Hughes) and her brothers (Edwin Lutjen and Raymond Lutjen).
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sedalia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
