Stephen Bowers

Stephen D. Bowers 71, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born on April 1, 1953 in Carthage, MO.

Survivors include one daughter, Sarah Messick and her husband Devon of Colorado Springs, CO; two brothers, William Bowers of Kansas City, MO, Michael Shrable and his wife Jackie of Blue Eye, MO; one sister, Yvonne Stevens and her husband Howard of Sedalia, MO; two grandchildren, Samuel Messick and Ryan Messick.

Stephen was preceded in death by both of his parents James Bowers and Barbara Shrable; and one daughter, Jessica Bowers.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 until service time at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home with inurnment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donor's Choice.
