Tammy Sue Cree Price, 53, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born August 11, 1964, in Sedalia, daughter of Norman and Elva (Wills) Cree.
On March 30, 1996, in Sedalia, she was married to Alan C. Price.
Tammy was a loving, caring and generous person who had a heart of gold. Her positivity was infectious. Even through her battle with cancer she remained courageous and made it her mission to support other women with the disease. Her daughter, Tori, was her life. Tammy was a Christian and was a member of Maplewood Church, where she served as the secretary, taught a Bible study and worked with the children’s programs. She held a B.S. degree in Business and had also worked at the Center for Human Services. She was a friend to many and enjoyed spending time with her sisters of Beta Sigma Phi. In her spare time, she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and reading.
Surviving are her husband, Alan; daughter, Tori; father, Norman Cree, of Sedalia; brother, Tommy Cree (Beth), of Kansas City; two nieces, Addie and Lexie; many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elva.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Eddie Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
