Terry E. White

Terry Edward White, 72, of La Monte, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at his home.

He was born May 26, 1951, in Sedalia, son of William Edward and Jo Etta (Jones) White.

Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in missile maintenance. He was a Baptist minister for many years and was faithful to the church. His favorite times were horseback riding with his dad (although he was a terrible momma’s boy). Weekends were typically spent watching football. He liked the NFL, but he was particularly fond of college, especially Mizzou.

Surviving are three children, Ramona Waller (Tom), Sara Kirchner (Chris), and Terry White; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three siblings, William White (Mildred) of Sedalia, Mark White (Nancy) of Cherokee, KS, and Sue Plummer (Michael) of La Monte; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
