Thayer “Ted” Thompson
In Loving Memory…
Thayer Drake “Ted” Thompson, 79, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Fair View Nursing Home.
Ted was born August 25, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Rollin and Dorothy Anderson Thompson, who preceded him in death.
He was united in marriage to Connie Toohey on July 5, 1997, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Ted received his masters in city management and served as city manager in various cities nationwide.
He love to write and wrote four books, even one about the antics of his high school graduating class.
Ted was a proud member of Theta Delta Chi.
In addition to his wife, Connie; he is survived by three children, Christopher Marshall (Mary), Jonathan Marshall (Rena), and Jennifer Marshall; four grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grand daughter; and a sister Karen Kloepping (Roger).
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
