Thomas Bruce Cline was born June 12, 1946 in Sedalia, Missouri to Eliziah Cline and Charlene (Mitchell) Cline. Tom grew up in Sedalia where he attended Hubbard High School. Tom transitioned from this life, on August 29th, 2022 at his home. His parents Eliziah and Charlene Cline, brother Eliziah Jr, sister Helen Umbles and his precious granddaughter Kiera Cline preceded him in death.
Tom was a man who enjoyed fishing, watching football, baseball and westerns. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his daughter, grandchildren, family and close friends. He enjoyed jazz music, “ole skool” music like The Isley Brothers, Cameo, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin to name a few. Though a quiet man, when Tom spoke he humored everyone with his rhyming words and quick witted comments. He said “what he meant and he meant what he said.” You could always tell how he was feeling by the facial expressions and gestures he made to let you know just how he felt about it!
Down through the years Thomas worked for Tyson Foods and Rival Manufacturing companies until he physically was unable to.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Phyllis Cline, daughter Marquita (Tyrone), his grandchildren Ronnie Boggs, Khalil & Tyreese Davis, stepson Ron VanBuren and two step daughters Renee & Dilana Franklin, brother Gary Cline (Carolyn), sister Scharlette Gravitt, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Heckart Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
