Thomas R. Meade
Thomas Roger Meade, 74, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.
He was born November 20, 1942, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of Charles Matthew and Jane Cesilak Meade.
On September 19, 1964, in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was united in marriage to Margaret Dezalia.
Tom served honorably in the U.S. Marines and worked as a printer for Milton-Bradley in Eastlong Meadow, Massachusetts.
In addition to his wife, Margaret, he is survived by three children, Thomas Meade, Jr. (Yvonne), and their children, Kyle, Kristin and Patrick, of Frankfurt, Germany; Tracey Meade-Mancini (Eric), and her daughters, Marisa and Alexis, of Missouri; and Tammy Meade-Jackson (Joshua) and his son Caine; a sister, Anne Hardy, of Florida; and a very special niece, Marilyn Bourbeau, of Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Charles Meade.
A private mass will be held at St. Patrick Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
