Treasa J. Stockwell

Treasa Janalene Stockwell, 64, of La Monte, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at her home.

She was born August 21, 1960, in Richmond, daughter of Thomas Edward Beard Sr. and Carol Ruth (Portell) Beard. She was married to Ralph A. Stockwell.

Treasa was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she taught the special needs Sunday school class. She was involved in Special Olympics with her son, Eric.

Treasa was employed at Ewing Vocational Center, where she provided transportation.

She enjoyed cooking, watching birds, going to the lake to see the ducks and geese, fishing (as long as they were biting), and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Treasa was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend who would do anything for anybody.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph; her son, Eric Scott Beard; and her brother, Steven Beard.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas E. Beard, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church, where memorial services will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Beard, Thomas Beard, Jeff Crawford, Paul Stockwell, Aaron Stockwell, and Jeff Betts.

Memorials are suggested to New Hope Baptist Church.
