Trennis M. Eigsti

Trennis Matthew Eigsti, beloved son of Matthew and Gloria Eigsti, was born on December 2, 2004 at Hughesville, MO.

He was suddenly taken from our midst on September 26, 2022 in a car accident, while driving to work at the age of 17 years, 9 months, and 24 days.

He accepted Christ as his Saviour and was baptized on January 12, 2020 at Olive Hill Amish Mennonite Church, remaining faithful unto his death.

He will be greatly missed by his sorrowing parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers; Karmen and husband Nevin Hostetler, Hotchkiss, CO; Ryan and wife Stephanie; Kylan and wife June; Kaitlyn and husband Kent Kropf; Rhonda and husband Vin Knox; Michael and wife Sandi; Michelle and husband Kevin Knox all of Sedalia, MO; 8 nieces and 6 nephews; Maternal grandmother Sarah Christner.

He was preceded in death by nephew Israel Shepard; maternal grandfather Frank Christner; paternal grandparents Jerrold and Bessie Eigsti; an Uncle Archie and 7 cousins.

He just recently started his job at Mid-States which he enjoyed and always came home with a smile on his face. He preferred being at home and seemed content. His nieces and nephews were special to him, and he enjoyed many happy times with them, especially his nephews.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thanks to everyone for their prayers, presence, help, food and sympathy during this difficult time.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Olive Hill Amish-Mennonite School.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Olive Hill Amish-Mennonite Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
