Troy “Eddie” Motley, 88, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born December 20, 1933, in Morris, OK, son of Troy Lee and Ada Pearl (Blakey) Motley.
On October 2, 1982, in Raytown, MO, he married Ann F. (Jackson), who survives of the home.Troy served in the Missouri National Guard, and then continued service in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He loved antique cars and was proud to have restored a 1950 Plymouth. He enjoyed country music, fishing, and hunting. He loved spending time with everyone and never met a stranger. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tina St Clair (Mike) of Kansas City, MO; a grandson, Logan; and a brother, Dean Motley (Bunny) of Crowder, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2022, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Kindle officiating.
Casket bearers will be “Little” Dean Motley, Dale Motley, Kenny Motley, Jimmy Ramsey, Barry Keele and Ralph Craig.
Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2022, at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown, MO.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Bethlehem Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.
