In Loving Memory…
Victoria Kay “Vickie” Perry, 67, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
She was born May 14, 1949, in Sedalia, the daughter of Calvin Theodore and Edith Virginia Ford Salmons.
Vickie married Jesse A. Perry on October 11, 1984, in Sedalia.
She worked for more than 25 years as a seamstress at J.A. Lamys and after retirement she continued as a seamstress for friends and family.
She volunteered many hours for the Bothwell Hospital Auxiliary, where she served as membership chairman. She was also a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church.
Vickie especially loved her grandkids. She will be remembered as a good person, friendly, outgoing and always ready to help others.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse; two sons, James Hill (Karen), of Smithton, Ruben Hill (Mary) , of Sedalia; two grandsons, Brandon Hill (Ashley) and Chandler Hill; two great-grandchildren, Landon Hill and Hunter Hill; two sisters, Lucy Craig, of Sedalia, and Janice Littlepage, of Sedalia; and two brothers, Leonard Salmons, of Sedalia, and Mike Blankenship, of Dresden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two siblings who were still born.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.
Casket bearers will be Christopher Bolling, Kenny Wood, Patrick Perry, Brad Dillon, Charlie Ross and Chris Caballero.
Honorary bearers will be Don Perry, Jim Perry and Donald Perry III.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
