Viola Gladys Yonce, 94, formerly of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Woodlands Manor in Arnold, MO.
She was born December 28, 1922, in Pettis County, the daughter of Elmer and Gladys Bryant Bullard.
Viola was united in marriage to Lee G. Yonce on December 13, 1945, in Sedalia.
She worked in sales at Famous-Barr in St. Louis.
She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Arnold and a former member of East Sedalia Baptist Church.
Viola enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by three children: Frank A. (Linda) Yonce, of Eureka, MO, Tracy (Cindy) Yonce, of House Springs, MO, and Nancy (Stephen) Huk, of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren: Clayton, Lauren, Eric, David, Daniel, Lisa and Julie; four great-grandchildren, Lily, Hannah, Joseph and Ava; four sisters, Eunice Goss, of Sedalia, Shirley Marcum, of Otterville, Hannah Fay Patrick, of Sedalia and Jackie Lutjen, of Sedalia; and a brother, Wayne Bullard, of Warrenton.
In addition to her husband, Lee, and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Henderson and Laverne Otten; and a brother, Elmer Bullard.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Heckart Funeral Home, Jeff Page officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
