Vivian Lea Cuba, 79, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born August 28, 1943, in Butler, daughter of Arthur Lee and Nadyne Ethelyn (Petty) Wheeler.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1961.

On March 19, 1983, in Sedalia, she married Michael Wayne Cuba.

Vivian worked as a waitress at various restaurants. She enjoyed going to the boat to play the penny slots, garage sales, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She loved her fur baby “Little Bit.” She will be remembered as outgoing, thoughtful, and caring, and will always be in the hearts of those who loved her.

Surviving are her husband, Michael, of the home; her children, Sondra Faubion (Scott), of Warrensburg, Teresa Young (Brian), of Sedalia, and Tammy Zeiler (Steven), of Sedalia; Michael’s children, Laura Garber (Lee), of Madison, WI, Amy Hubbard, of Amarillo, TX, and Michael Cuba, of Sedalia; nineteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary Wheeler (Kathy), of Sedalia; and two sisters, Sue Brownfield (Donnie), of Sedalia, and Debbie Bryden (Forrest), of Sedalia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Ronald Wheeler.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Heckart Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family, in care of the funeral home.
