Vladimir Tsipan, 66, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at his home.
He was born August 29, 1957, in Ukraine, a son of the late Mark and Ustina Tsipan. On August 8, 1982, in Ukraine, he was married to Irina Malkanova who survives of the home.
He was a member of the First Slavic Baptist Church and served as a deacon. He worked as a plumber, welder and mechanic. Vladimir enjoyed fishing, drawing, playing guitar, singing, and preaching the Lord’s word. He was very handy and enjoyed building projects. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Irina, survivors include four children, Leo Tsipan (Yelena), of Sedalia, Victoria Polishchuk (Max), of Rockland, CA, Julie Ivanitskiy (David), of Dallas, GA, and Yelena Butenko (Dmitriy), of Sedalia; 13 grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Sedalia Tabernacle on B Highway, with Pastor Nikolay Reznichenko officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2023, at Crown Hill Cemetery.
