Wallace Leo Lewis
Wallace Leo Lewis, 73, of Sedalia passed away July 24, 2022 at his home.
He was born April 3, 1947, in Sedalia, MO, the son of Audrey and Zola Mae “Dude” Morris Lewis. He was united in marriage with Sherry Wasson Lewis, who preceded him in death on Feb. 19, 2020.
Wally was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Benton Mississippi. He worked as a veterinary assistant at Sedalia Vet Center, was a partner in McFatrich/Lewis Farms and was a welder for many companies over the last forty years of his life. Wally was a Horseman and loved his dogs.
Surviving are three children, Troy Lewis of Sedalia, MO, Shandi Lewis (Jeff Morris) of Sedalia, MO, Kami Lewis Poole (John Lautenschlager) of Parkville, MO; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister, Barbara Lewis Pierce (J.D.) of Vicksburg, MS; and the mother of his children, Carolyn McFatrich Lewis Williams.
In addition to both of his parents and his wife Sherry, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Harlan Lewis.
Private services for Wally will be held at a later date.
