William G. “Billy” Bishop, Jr.

William Gene “Billy” Bishop, Jr., 46, of Clifton City, died Friday, February 2, 2018, at his home.

He was born April 27, 1971, in Cooper County, son of William Gene Bishop and Norma Jean (Argenbright) Bishop.

Billy had a great sense of humor and liked to have a good time. He was a very caring man and was always taking care of his family. He enjoyed playing Bingo.

Surviving are his father, William G. Bishop, of Bunceton; five siblings, J.D. Bishop, of Bunceton, Tony Bishop, of Boonville, David Bishop, of Bunceton, Lindsey Ridgeway, of Boonville, and Haley Bishop, of Tipton; his grandmother, Myrtle Hanning, of Clifton City; nine nieces and nephews; one great-niece and one great-nephew on the way.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday, February 17, at the Clifton City Community Building.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
