William Russell “Russ” Vickrey, age 42, of Conway, AR, died Friday, September 28, 2018, at his home.
He was born June 28, 1976, in Sedalia, son of Bill and Marsha (Cole) Vickrey.
Russ is survived by a sister, Rachel Rayburn (Matt); two nephews, Trevor Rayburn and Ethan Rayburn, all of Conway, AR; grandfather, Don Morton, of Sedalia; grandparents, John and Wilma McFail, of Houstonia; one uncle, Kenny Vickrey (Roberta); two aunts, Connie Kleinschmidt (Jr) and Carla Bell (Randy); several cousins; former wife and good friend, Jennifer Hitt; and longtime best friend, Johnnie Phariss.
Russ was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Marsha Vickrey; grandmother, Deloris Morton; grandfather, Frank Cole; and great-grandparents.
Russ adored his nephews and all his family and friends. He loved everyone.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, at the Houstonia City Hall.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 4, at Houstonia Cemetery, with Pastor Emily Stirewalt officiating.
