Wilma K. Hotson
Wilma Kaylene Hotson, 81, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at Fair View Nursing Home.
She was born August 20, 1938 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Cecil Earl and Allie (Woodall) Lakey. On December 5, 1960 in Kansas City, MO, she married Melvin Earl Hotson, Sr. who survives of the home.
Wilma enjoyed doing word searches and baking.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years; one son, Melvin E. Hotson, II, of Overland Park, KS; one daughter, Statia K. Hotson, of Sedalia, MO.
In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Q. Lakey and one sister, Florence Alene Lakey.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donor’s Choice and may be left in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
